How long have you been in business?
We have been in business 50 years. I bought the business from my father-in-law in September of 2014.
What is your primary product or service?
Plumbing services. Water pumps, softeners, water heaters, sewer and drain lines, and small excavation work.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I have an MBA from Indiana Wesleyan and I became interested in being an owner of the plumbing business because I wanted to keep it in the family. My father-in-law and my husband are both general contractors and journeyman plumbers. I would like to see my grandson buy the business in the next 5 years.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We offer 24 hour service 7 days a week. We prioritize our jobs according to need. ie no waters as opposed to replacing faucets.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We are a small business and I work out of my home. I do not plan to expand anything other than my customer base.
